Residential EPC's

At Green Homes EPC Ltd, we provide fast, professional, and fully accredited Residential EPCs (Energy Performance Certificates) for homeowners, landlords, estate agents, and property professionals. A Residential EPC shows how energy-efficient a property is, giving it a rating from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient). The certificate helps homeowners and tenants understand estimated energy costs, heating efficiency, and ways to improve the property’s overall energy performance. Your EPC will also include practical recommendations for improving efficiency, such as upgrading insulation, improving glazing, or installing more efficient heating systems — helping to reduce energy bills and improve comfort. In the UK, a valid EPC is legally required when a property is built, sold, or rented, and certificates remain valid for 10 years. At Green Homes EPC Ltd, we deliver accurate, compliant, and hassle-free EPC assessments with fast turnaround times and professional service across our coverage areas.

Retrofit Assesments

At Green Homes EPC Ltd, we provide professional Retrofit Assessments to help homeowners, landlords, housing providers, and property professionals improve the energy efficiency and overall performance of their properties. A Retrofit Assessment is a detailed evaluation of an existing property that looks at areas such as insulation, heating systems, ventilation, construction type, and the overall condition of the building. The assessment helps identify the most suitable energy efficiency improvements for the property while ensuring any recommended upgrades are safe, effective, and appropriate for the building. Our qualified Retrofit Assessors assess the property to help determine suitable measures such as upgraded insulation, low-carbon heating systems, improved ventilation, and renewable energy solutions. This forms the first step of a retrofit project and provides valuable information for future improvement works. In the UK, Retrofit Assessments are carried out in line with PAS 2035 standards and are used to create a tailored improvement plan designed to make homes more energy-efficient, comfortable, and environmentally friendly.

Government Backed Grants

A government-backed grant is a form of financial support to help individuals, households, or businesses cover the cost of specific improvements or projects. Unlike a loan, a grant typically does not need to be repaid, as long as the eligibility criteria and conditions are met. In 2026, government-backed grants in the UK are commonly used to support energy efficiency and low-carbon upgrades in homes—such as insulation, heat pumps, or solar panels—as part of ongoing efforts to reduce energy bills and meet climate targets. These grants are often targeted at households with lower incomes or properties with poor energy performance, helping make improvements more affordable and accessible.
